Summary
This study compares two common treatments for back and leg pain caused by a herniated disc: a lumbar erector spinae plane block (an injection near the spine muscles) and a lumbar epidural steroid injection (an injection into the spine's outer layer). Researchers will track pain levels and disability in 80 patients over 12 weeks to see which method provides better relief. The goal is to help doctors choose the most effective option for managing pain without surgery.
