NCT ID NCT06563479
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jul 29, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tests whether a personalized, lower dose of radiation (guided by a special PET scan) works as well as the standard dose for people with HPV-positive throat cancer. About 291 participants will receive either the lower or standard radiation dose, along with standard chemotherapy. The goal is to see if the lower dose reduces side effects and maintains quality of life without affecting survival.
