Gentler treatment tested for frail myeloma patients
NCT ID NCT05911321
Summary
This study is testing a combination of three drugs for multiple myeloma that has returned or stopped responding to prior treatments. It specifically aims to see if using lower doses of two of the drugs is safe and effective for older patients or those who are too frail for standard, full-dose chemotherapy. The goal is to control the cancer while reducing the risk of severe side effects in this vulnerable group.
