Gentler chemo trial aims to spare older women harsh side effects

Summary
This study is testing whether a lower dose of a common chemotherapy combination (docetaxel and cyclophosphamide) works as well as the standard dose for women aged 65 and older with early-stage breast cancer. The main goal is to see if the reduced dose is easier to tolerate, causes fewer severe side effects, and improves quality of life while still controlling the cancer. Researchers will compare the two dosing strategies in about 174 participants.
