First seen May 09, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study looked at whether adding lofexidine to the standard opioid treatment buprenorphine can reduce both PTSD symptoms and opioid relapse in veterans. 84 veterans on stable buprenorphine therapy were enrolled. The goal was to see if the combination is safer and more effective than buprenorphine alone for managing both conditions.
