New Four-Drug combo aims to tackle tough liver cancer cases

NCT ID NCT07350070

Summary

This study is testing a new combination treatment for people with advanced liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma) who also have high blood pressure in their liver (portal hypertension) due to cirrhosis. The treatment combines a minimally invasive procedure (TACE) with three drugs: an immunotherapy (tislelizumab), a targeted cancer drug (lenvatinib), and a blood pressure medication (carvedilol). The goal is to see if this four-part approach can safely shrink tumors while also managing the complications of cirrhosis.
