Live music concerts tested to soothe Alzheimer's anxiety and strengthen bonds
NCT ID NCT06940687
Summary
This Yale University study is exploring whether attending live music concerts can help reduce anxiety and improve emotional connection for people in the early stages of Alzheimer's disease and their caregivers. Researchers will measure brain activity, heart rate, and survey responses from 60 participant-caregiver pairs as they listen to both live and recorded music. The goal is to see if the live music experience provides measurable benefits to well-being and social bonding.
