New hope for high-risk MDS: phase 3 trial of lisaftoclax combo launches

Summary

This study tests whether adding lisaftoclax to standard azacitidine helps people with newly diagnosed higher-risk myelodysplastic syndrome (a serious blood cancer) live longer. About 490 participants worldwide will receive either the combo or a placebo plus azacitidine. The main goal is to see if the new combination improves overall survival.
