Can a common antibiotic beat syphilis?

Summary
This study tests whether the antibiotic linezolid can effectively treat early syphilis. About 24 adults with primary, secondary, or early latent syphilis will receive linezolid, and researchers will check if their blood test levels drop enough by 6 months. The goal is to find a new treatment option for syphilis.
