First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tested whether wearing green or blue-tinted glasses after kidney donation surgery could help reduce pain and nausea without medication. 48 kidney donors were randomly assigned to wear green, blue, clear, or no glasses for at least 8 hours a day until discharge. Their pain and nausea levels were checked regularly. The goal was to see if colored light could offer a simple, non-drug way to improve recovery.
