Summary
This study tested whether special light devices can improve sleep in 60 adults aged 60 and older who have had insomnia for at least 3 months. Participants used bright light, near-infrared light, or both for three weeks. Researchers measured sleep quality, daytime sleepiness, and melatonin levels to see if the light therapy helped.
