First seen Feb 23, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study tested whether a 12-week lifestyle physical activity program could help pregnant women who are at risk for using cannabis cut back or stop. Sixteen women who used cannabis at least once a week before pregnancy and had mild depression or anxiety took part. They wore a Fitbit tracker and received guidance to increase their daily activity. The researchers measured cannabis use, physical activity, mood, and confidence in staying away from cannabis.
