NCT ID NCT07318285
First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study tests whether a small amount of lidocaine (a common numbing medicine) placed inside the cervix can reduce pain during office hysteroscopy, a procedure where a doctor looks inside the uterus. About 208 women will receive either lidocaine or salt water before the exam and then rate their pain. The goal is to find a simple way to make the procedure more comfortable.
