Summary
This study measured the activity of an enzyme called glucocerebrosidase in 236 people with and without Lewy body dementia. The goal was to see if lower enzyme activity could help identify patients who might benefit from treatments already used for Gaucher disease. The study did not test any treatment, but its results could guide future therapeutic trials.
