Summary
This study looked at 52 adults having heart valve surgery who also had high blood pressure in their lungs. Doctors gave one group a drug called levosimendan and the other group dobutamine to see which one better helped the right side of the heart work after surgery. The team checked heart function using ultrasound before, during, and after the operation. The goal was to find out which medicine leads to better recovery of the right ventricle in the first week after surgery.
