Summary
This study compared two drugs, levosimendan and adrenaline, given during heart bypass surgery to 60 patients with weak hearts (ejection fraction 30-40%). The goal was to see which drug better supports heart function during and right after surgery. Researchers measured heart pumping ability and other heart performance indicators using ultrasound.
