Summary

This European study is collecting health data from 4,500 adults listed for liver transplantation across 50 centers. The goal is to design and test new AI-based models that predict which patients are most likely to die or become too sick for transplant while waiting. If accurate, these models could replace the current scoring system and improve fairness in organ allocation.
