Summary

This pilot study tested a 4-week laughter yoga program (8 sessions, 15 minutes each) in 45 adolescents with intellectual or physical disabilities at a special school in Hong Kong. Half did laughter yoga, half got routine care. The goal was to see if laughter yoga could improve mood, reduce anxiety, and lessen loneliness. Results are preliminary and not yet published.
