One-Shot laser vs. multiple treatments: race to save vision from diabetes

NCT ID NCT06549023

Summary

This study compares two common laser treatment schedules for a serious diabetic eye complication that can cause blindness. Researchers want to see if getting all the laser treatment in one session is as safe and effective as spreading it over several visits. They're enrolling 40 adults with newly diagnosed proliferative diabetic retinopathy to measure vision outcomes, side effects, and patient experience.
