Summary
This study tested whether using a laryngeal mask combined with a visual bronchial blocker causes less throat pain and hoarseness after lung surgery compared to the standard double-lumen tube. 270 adults having lung surgery participated. The main goal was to see how many people had a sore throat or hoarseness within 24 hours after surgery.
