Summary
This study tested a technique to help doctors insert a breathing tube in very obese patients having weight-loss surgery. The method uses a laryngeal mask airway as a temporary helper to keep oxygen flowing while the doctor prepares for the main tube. Thirty-six patients took part, and the goal was to see if this approach makes intubation faster and easier.
