Summary
This study follows 30 people with liver cirrhosis and a history of bleeding from high blood pressure in the liver. They will have surgery to remove the spleen and disconnect certain blood vessels. Researchers will track kidney function for two years to see if the surgery helps or harms the kidneys. The goal is to learn how to better protect kidney health in these patients.
