NCT ID NCT07226921

First seen Nov 12, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study looks at how people who speak two languages (like Mandarin and English) or a spoken language and sign language (like ASL and English) control which language they use. Researchers will have 360 healthy adults do tasks like naming pictures or sorting words in different languages. The goal is to understand how the brain switches between languages, not to test a treatment.
