Cooling sensation may ease COPD Sufferers' breathing struggles
NCT ID NCT05888597
Summary
This study tested whether inhaling L-menthol, which creates a cooling sensation in the airways, could help reduce the feeling of breathlessness in people with COPD. Twenty participants with COPD performed exercise tests after using either L-menthol or a placebo. The goal was to see if the treatment could make breathing feel easier and improve exercise capacity.
