Scientists track key molecule in High-Risk pregnancies
NCT ID NCT07411937
Summary
This study aims to understand how a natural substance called kynurenine changes during pregnancy in women with chronic kidney disease. Researchers will measure kynurenine levels in 204 pregnant women, with and without kidney disease, to see if lower levels are linked to serious complications like preeclampsia. The goal is to gather knowledge that could one day help predict or prevent these dangerous conditions.
