Scientists test re-engineered immune cells to fight tough cancers

NCT ID NCT06237881

Summary

This early-stage study is testing a new personalized cell therapy called KSQ-001EX in people with advanced melanoma, lung cancer, or head and neck cancer. Doctors take a patient's own immune cells from a tumor, genetically modify them to potentially be more powerful, and then infuse them back into the patient. The main goals are to see if this treatment is safe and to look for early signs that it can shrink tumors.
