First seen Apr 25, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study compares two minimally invasive procedures to relieve long-term knee pain caused by osteoarthritis. About 50 adults aged 45 to 85 with severe knee pain will receive either radiofrequency ablation (using heat) or a neurolytic alcohol injection to block pain signals. Researchers will measure pain, physical function, and quality of life over six months to see which method works better and lasts longer.
