First seen Nov 11, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study tests whether a standard, one-size-fits-all medication plan can prevent new kidney stones as effectively as a plan based on individual urine tests. 80 adults who have had kidney stone surgery will be randomly assigned to one of the two approaches. The goal is to see if the simpler method works just as well, making prevention easier for more people.
