Kidney stone prevention: simple approach vs. customized testing
NCT ID NCT07225764
Summary
This study compares two methods to prevent calcium oxalate kidney stones from returning after surgery. 80 patients at Mount Sinai West will be randomly assigned to receive either standard prevention treatment or personalized treatment based on detailed urine testing. Researchers want to see if the simpler standard approach works as well as the more complex personalized method for preventing future stones.
