First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 32 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a lower dose (15mg) of the painkiller ketorolac works as well as a higher dose (30mg) for kidney stone pain in the emergency department. About 86 adults with severe pain will receive one of the two doses, and their pain levels will be tracked over several hours. The goal is to find out if the lower dose provides similar pain relief, which could reduce side effects.
