Summary

This study looks at how a common diabetes medication (SGLT2 inhibitor) changes energy levels in the heart muscle. Researchers will measure key energy molecules in the heart before and after treatment. The goal is to understand if this drug helps the heart work better in people with type 2 diabetes and heart failure. About 71 adults aged 18-80 with these conditions will take part.
