First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests whether taking a ketogenic nutritional supplement every evening for 4 weeks can change how the body burns energy overnight and affect muscle health. Researchers will study 14 healthy but overweight adults aged 60-80 who are not very active. Participants will either get the ketogenic drink or a non-ketogenic control drink, and their metabolism and muscle function will be measured.
