Summary

This study tested two painkillers, ketamine and lidocaine, in 76 adults recovering from gallbladder removal surgery. Patients were randomly assigned to receive one of the two drugs, and their pain levels were checked at several points over 24 hours. The goal was to see which drug provides better pain relief after this common surgery.
