First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 25, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a single dose of ketamine, given while a person is sedated, can help with chronic pain and depression better than a placebo (saline). About 40 adults with long-term pain and depression will take part. They will be randomly assigned to receive either ketamine or a placebo during sedation, and their symptoms will be tracked over several weeks.
