NCT ID NCT05339074

First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 32 times

Summary

This study looked at whether repeated low-dose ketamine infusions could help people with treatment-resistant bipolar depression keep feeling better over 12 weeks. Forty-one adults who had already responded to an initial course of ketamine received up to six more infusions on a flexible schedule. The goal was to see if the treatment could maintain antidepressant effects and improve quality of life while being safe and well-tolerated.
