New AI tool could replace invasive heart tests
NCT ID NCT07551518
First seen Apr 28, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looked at data from 100 people with heart artery disease to see if a new computer program (IvusFFR v2.0) can accurately measure blood flow blockages using ultrasound images. The goal was to see if this non-invasive method could match the current standard test, which requires a wire inside the artery. No new treatments or patient visits were involved—only existing medical images and measurements were analyzed.
