NCT ID NCT06175832

First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study compares two different ovarian stimulation methods used in IVF to see which one patients prefer and tolerate better. Sixty women undergoing either fertility preservation or preimplantation genetic testing will try both methods in a crossover design. The main goal is to measure treatment-related quality of life and satisfaction through questionnaires.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

Active substance

Corifollitropin alfa (Elonva), recombinant FSH (Puregon), GnRH antagonist (Orgalutran), GnRH agonist (Gonapeptyl), progestin (Cerazette)

What this could lead to

If this trial succeeds, it could help identify which ovarian stimulation method is more comfortable and convenient for patients undergoing IVF or fertility preservation.

What could go wrong

This is a small, single-center phase 4 study with only 60 participants, so results may not apply to everyone. The focus is on patient satisfaction, not pregnancy or live birth rates.
