First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study is testing whether the antifungal drug itraconazole is a practical and safe treatment for adults with bronchiectasis who also have mold growing in their airways. Researchers will enroll 30 participants to see if people are willing to join, can stick with the 6-week treatment, and experience fewer respiratory symptoms. The goal is to gather early information to guide larger future studies.
