Could a common acne drug reduce dark spots better in skin of color?

Summary
This study compares taking oral isotretinoin (a strong acne medicine) right away versus the usual antibiotics for moderate acne in people with darker skin (Fitzpatrick types IV-VI). The goal is to see if isotretinoin reduces acne-related dark spots better after 6 months. About 420 participants aged 13-30 will join this open-label trial across France.
