First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a single session of isometric exercise (holding a muscle contraction without moving) can immediately reduce pain sensitivity and pain intensity in adults with chronic low back pain. About 90 participants will be randomly assigned to exercise or a control group. The goal is to see if this simple, drug-free approach can provide quick pain relief.
