First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether measuring a hormone called irisin in the blood can help find diabetic kidney disease early and track how it gets worse. Researchers will compare irisin levels in 200 adults with type 2 diabetes to healthy people. The goal is to see if irisin can be a simple test for early detection.
