NCT ID NCT05172258
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether adding the experimental drug ipatasertib to the standard immunotherapy pembrolizumab works better than pembrolizumab alone for people with head and neck cancer that has returned or spread. About 52 adults with incurable, advanced squamous cell carcinoma will take part. The goal is to see if the combination can slow cancer growth and improve outcomes.
