First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study tests whether giving a clot-busting drug directly into the brain's arteries can improve tiny blood vessel flow after a major stroke clot is removed. About 20 adults who had a large-vessel stroke and already underwent mechanical clot removal will receive a single dose of tenecteplase. Researchers will measure blood flow changes using special X-ray imaging and track recovery over 90 days.
