Eye twitch may signal early MS, new study hopes to find out

NCT ID NCT07560995

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study examines patients who have internuclear ophthalmoplegia, a condition that causes trouble moving the eyes sideways, to see how many later develop multiple sclerosis (MS). Researchers will review medical records of 200 patients to identify factors that predict MS conversion. The goal is to help diagnose MS earlier in people who first show only this eye symptom.
