First seen Apr 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study explores whether using interactive virtual reality (VR) can help reduce pain, anxiety, and fatigue in people receiving palliative care. Twenty hospitalized adults with a life expectancy of at least one month will try daily VR sessions where they can interact with a calming virtual world. The main goal is to see if patients can stick with the program and tolerate it well, which will guide future, larger studies.
