Summary

This study looks at whether giving a more intensive medication plan earlier can help people with schizophrenia, major depression, or bipolar depression who didn't get better with their first treatment. About 1,250 adults will be randomly assigned to either the usual next-step treatment or an early intensified approach. The goal is to see if this reduces symptoms faster and prevents more failed treatments.
