First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study follows 260 adults newly diagnosed with cancer who have no prior sleep problems. Researchers will track insomnia symptoms over the first year using questionnaires. The goal is to understand when and why sleep issues start and what factors—like treatment type or emotional distress—may play a role. This is an observational study, not a treatment trial.
