First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated Jun 06, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study involves 500 people who have chest pain or other signs of heart trouble, but whose main heart arteries are not blocked. Researchers use special tools during a heart catheterization to measure tiny blood vessel function and look for hidden causes like microvascular disease or spasms. The goal is to better understand these conditions and track patients' health over time to improve diagnosis and treatment.
