Infrared tech could take the pain out of IVs for lung cancer patients

Summary

This study tests whether a special infrared light can help nurses see veins better when placing IVs in lung cancer patients receiving chemotherapy. The goal is to reduce pain, improve comfort, and strengthen trust between patients and nurses. About 160 patients will take part, with half getting the infrared-assisted IV and half getting the standard method.
