First seen May 18, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looked at how acute inflammation changes blood flow in the skin and how it affects mood and behavior. Twenty-five healthy adults received either a placebo or an inflammation-triggering injection on separate days. Researchers used special cameras to measure skin changes and asked participants about their feelings. The goal was to understand why people respond differently to inflammation.
