Summary
This study aims to understand and improve the process of checking older adults' overall health before major abdominal surgery. Researchers will observe clinic visits and interview patients, caregivers, and healthcare staff to create a detailed map of the current system. Then, they will work with these groups to redesign the process, making it more efficient and easier to use in different hospitals.
